ISERH JOINED IMF/WORLD BANK GROUP 2017 ANNUAL MEETINGS

Annually, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank hold annual meetings to discuss global issues and mark the end of the year’s activities. Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH) was among the 1,070 invited global CSOs that participated alongside 1,027 Observers; 1,023 Press; and 5,560 Guests that includes: government officials, central banks’ governors, delegates, ED staff, and captains of industries; in the IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings 2017| Washington DC. Getting selected as a participating CSO required a thorough process, organization’s website and projects/activities reviews, and submission of certain documents like: Certificate of Incorporation, Organization’s Constitutions, Incorporated Trustees, etc.

Abdulahi Abayomi Abdulraheem, ISERH Exc. Director, who represented this organization at the event participated in a lot of sessions, made few presentations, asked certain important questions, and provided contributions. His curiousity for knowledge granted us over 30 different IMF/World Bank publications worth thousands of dollars, a year free access to IMF eLIBRARY, an IMF e-LIBRARY flash drive, got IMF Connect Account, and the registration of ISERH among the global CSOs that subscribed to the new IMF project: #Women4Growth.

Alongside the Exc. Director of Knowledge Aid Initiative, Success Ojo, ISERH Exc. Director shared the impacts of ISERH’s projects on education, leadership development, health, and peaceful living at every section he had the opportunity to interact with dignitaries.
