ISERH AMB. RIDWAN: A PERCEIVED SERIAL FAILURE SCORED 294 IN 2017 UTME!
This is indeed another evident impact of the Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH) project, Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC), on youth and educational system of Osun State in particular and Nigeria as a whole. ISERH Ambassador Ridwan Oluwatobiloba Omidiran, a perceived serial failure, who emerged as the OVERALL HIGHEST SCORER of the 2016 Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC), made us proud by making an aggregate score of 294 in the 2017 UTME sponsored by the Nigeria Network of Nongovernmental Organizations (NNNGOs).
ISERH Amb. Ridwan has this to say:
“I am ISERH Amb. Ridwan Oluwatobiloba Omidiran, a 16-year old ex-student of a school that lacked teachers for some basic subjects. Hence, I was known as an average student. The future of my academic pursuit began to fade away after I failed several examinations and competitions which includes: Cowbell Competition (2013), WASSCE (2015), WAEC (GCE 2015), ABC (2015), Olympiad (2015), NNPC Examination (2015).
Sitting for Aspiring the Best Competition (ABC) in 2015 transformed my life as I went studying to prove to the world that I could excel. Sometimes, I had to skip school in order to adequately prepare for this challenging competition. My efforts got crowned in 2016 edition of the competition as I emerged the OVERALL HIGHEST SCORER and got my UTME sponsored by Nigeria Network of Nongovernmental Organization (NNNGOs) under the leadership of Mr. Oyebisi Babatunde who was the Guest Speaker at the 2016 ISERH RECOGNITION AWARD held on Saturday Jan. 7, 2017 at theOsun State College of Education, Ilesa.
With ISERH's continual mentorship for me as her Ambassador, the giant in me got awakened as I secured an aggregate score of 294 in the 2017 UTME. My dream is to study Genetics, a branch of medicine, at the prestigious University of Ibadan. I consistently dream to become a genetically bred geneticist that is coming to cure the universe off genetic defects like cancer, hyperdontia, down syndrome, mermaid syndrome and countless others.
If I achieve all my goals and become the man I dream to be, after Almighty Allah and my family, I am highly indebted to ISERH and ABC Project. So help me God!
