International Youth Day NASFAT Collaborates With ISERH

Just like it happened in 2015 when the Methodist Church Cathedral, Awomolo, Ilesa collaborated with the Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH) in marking their Youth Day, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society, Youth Wing Worldwide, Ilesa Branch as well collaborated with ISERH in marking this year (2016) International Youth Day with the theme: The Road to 2030: Eradicating Poverty and Achieving Sustainable Production and Consumption.

In the speech of the invited Islamic Scholar, Imam (Ustaz) Sulayman Gboyelade – The State Chief Imam of The Muslim Congress (TMC) Osun State, he likened this year’s theme to the Story of Prophet Yussuf and challenged Muslim Youths to be economically productive and think of establishing themselves rather than waiting for Government Jobs. He noted that the present worldly slogan is ‘Wealth Creation’ and thereby encouraged them to create jobs which shall then lead to wealth creation

The Executive Director of ISERH, Mr. Abdulahi Abayomi Abdulraheem, took them through Personal Branding, Social Media Etiquettes, and Development of Winning Curriculum Vitae (CV). He afterwards expressed his happiness that ISERH has shown herself to be a pure Social, Human and Community Development Organisation that is highly active in engaging every Stakeholder in promoting a Violent-free and Literate Nation. He expressed his enthusiasm in seeing religious bodies and organizations working tirelessly to develop their youths in becoming Peaceful Future Leaders.

In his speech, the Worldwide Naibu-l-Amir of NASFAT Youth Wing Worldwide – Mr. Lamidi Saheed Ademola (LSA), he delivered the message of the NASFAT Youth Wing Worldwide Amir and commended the efforts of NASFAT Youth Wing Ilesa Branch for making huge impacts on their members. He challenged the participants to work on their ATTITUDE as it is a great determinant of a successful future. He sought further collaborations with the Initiative for Sound Education, Relationship & Health (ISERH) as he couldn’t contain his enthusiasm on how ISERH Executive Director delivered his lecture and the ever-lasting impacts of it on the participants.

The Secretary of Ijesha Muslim Community, Engr. Musa Akinola Onifade, commended NASFAT Youth Wing Ilesa Branch and ISERH for the well-planned impactful program. He expressed that he would have lost a great deal, if he were absent at the program. He further corroborated the lecture of the ISERH Executive Director on developing a winning CV. He thereafter encouraged the participants to live up to the expectation of the Nation.

International Youth Day has come and gone but its impacts remain forever. Every youth is hereby charged to be the greatness they want to see. We are the agents that can make our World our dreamed World. We encouraged us to be Impacts-Makers rather than Noise-Makers. May we all be celebrated the same way International Youth Day is celebrated annually. We look forward to working and collaborating with more Religious and Social Organizations in making our youths Agents of Development.

Happy International Youth Day!!!
